Australia will get the luxury of watching some of the best golfers in the world on the course and on their televisions this summer, with Foxtel and Kayo Sports securing the broadcast rights for the PGA Tour of Australasia.
With Open champion Cameron Smith, former Masters champion Adam Scott and rising star Hannah Green set to tee up at the Australian Open and Australian PGA Championship, Australians will be able to watch over 170 hours of live golf tournament coverage.
“A commitment to working together as Australian Golf made this broadcast deal possible,” PGA Commercial Director of Australasia Michael McDonald said.
“By working together, the PGA of Australia, Golf Australia, WPGA Tour of Australasia and industry partners have been able to secure one of the best fan-focused broadcast deals in our collective history.”
The Australian PGA Championship will take place from 24-27 November at the Royal Queensland Golf club, with a red hot field including Smith, Marc Leishman and Lucas Herbert to play. New Zealand star Ryan Fox will also play at the tournament.

2013 Masters champ Scott, who showed his form at the recent FedEX Cup Championship, will challenge favourite Smith. Others including Matt Jones and former US Open champion Geoff Ogilvy will play.
“We’re excited to renew our partnership for three more years with the PGA of Australia, Golf Australia and the WPGA Tour to showcase the best domestic golf tournaments to our 2.8 million sports subscribers across Foxtel and Kayo Sports,” Fox Sports Head of Content Acquisitions and Sports Partnerships Adam Howarth said.
“It is particularly exciting for the upcoming summer with Cam Smith, Hannah Green, Adam Scott, Marc Leishman and more coming home to compete.”
