Broncos skipper Adam Reynolds has reportedly signed a contract extension, agreeing to terms on a new deal on the eve of his side’s Las Vegas departure.
The Courier Mail is reporting Reynolds’ extension will be announced in the next 48 hours and the superstar halfback will remain at Red Hill until the end of 2025.
Kevin Walters’ side will travel to the USA on Thursday morning ahead of a historic season-opening clash with the Roosters at Allegiant Stadium.

A selfless Reynolds is reported to have taken a pay cut to have stayed put at Red Hill.
Reynolds will also reportedly transition into a coaching role following his playing retirement, helping to mentor young guns Ezra Mam and Reece Walsh.
Mam, 21, recently signed his own extension that will see him remain with the Broncos until the end of the 2029 season.
Speaking to News Corp, Walters dismissed concerns about Reynolds age, with the experienced halfback turning 34 in July.
He believes the former Rabbitohs halfback in the man who can steer the Broncos to a premiership a break an 18-year drought.
“Reyno isn’t going anywhere,” Walters said.
“We’re confident he will play on (in 2025). I can’t see him going too far and we would love to have him on board for another year.”
Reynolds manager Steve Gillis also took a jab at the South Sydney club after finding success in Queensland since making the move ahead of the 2022 season.

“All the talk about Adam’s body at Souths was rumour and innuendo. Some people tried to discredit him, but Adam knows what he is capable of and he has shown that at the Broncos,” Gillis said.
“It’s always been the plan to have Adam signed before the season. Reyno is aware the Broncos are building and they have young guys to retain.
“This deal won’t all be about money, it will be about playing on and helping the club and building for a better future.
“He wants to win a premiership before he finishes and hopefully transition at the club after he has finished playing.”
DOGS RE-SIGN RISING STAR
The Bulldogs have agreed to terms with Samuel Hughes, with the club’s general manager Phil Gould confirming the prop will stay at Belmore.
The 23-year-old rising star impressed in Canterbury’s trial win over the Storm last week and was set to come off-contract at the end of the season.
Gould admitted the club were “struggling for depth” in the front row and that players were exposed ahead of their time last year.
But he revealed on his podcast Six Tackles With Gus that Hughes will continue to develop under Cameron Ciraldo at the Dogs.
“I think everyone will point out the fact we are struggling for depth in the middle-forwards area, which is obvious – we know that,” Gould said.
“We need the ones that we’ve got there to stand up. We had to expose a lot of young fellas last year that weren’t ready for it.
“Sammy Hughes is a prospect and I think we’ve just agreed to terms to extend him for another couple of years.
“Sammy’s a good kid, I’ve always liked Sammy from the first time he walked in the door, but he’s just had injuries. The pre-season before this, Sammy was at a rock concert and fell over a railing and did something to his back.

“He came to us late in the season in 2022 and I thought who is this? He moved really well, big tall kid and aggressive … I thought geez, he’s a hope.
“He was spinning his wheels all year and we left him – but he’s trained brilliantly during the off-season and hopefully he stands up.
“He trialled well the other night, but it was virtually only a reserve grade trial.”
Bulldogs hooker Reed Mahoney picked out Hughes as the player to watch ahead of the 2024 season, declaring he has been a “real highlight” in the summer.
“Young fellow, played five or six games last year and he hasn’t held back this year, he’s come with the right intentions to grab a starting spot even,” Mahoney said.
“A bench spot to begin with to be there every week, but he’s grabbed pre-season with both hands. “He’s 110 kilograms and running quick in our time trials, so he’s been a real highlight for us.”
