St Kilda forward Mitch Owens has been named to return just 18 days after he was brutally KO-ed in a horror on-field contest.
The teenager was knocked out in his side’s Round 10 win over GWS, with play stopped for several minutes before he was taken from the field on the medi-cab.
But the youngster has impressed on the training track this week, showing no concussion side effects.

Owens is one of two inclusions for the Saints for their clash with Sydney in superstar Lance Franklin’s 350th AFL game.
For the Swans, co-captain Dane Rampe returns for his first appearance since Round 4 after overcoming a neck complaint.
Angus Sheldrick, who put pen to paper on a new two-year deal this week, also comes into the line up with Luke Parker missing through suspension.
Big man Joel Amartey has been named as an emergency, despite his impressive performances early in the year before a significant hamstring injury, alongside Corey Warner, Lachlan McAndrew and Dylan Stephens.
The rest of the Round 13 teams will be announced on Thursday evening.
