Richmond star Shai Bolton has penned a five-year contract extension, shunning rival sides to remain at the club until at least the end of 2028.
Bolton has established himself as one of the competition’s most damaging players, with his 2022 season resulting in 43 goals.
The 24-year-old was set to attract significant interest from rival clubs in 2023 before re-signing.

Bolton’s previous two-year extension took considerable time before eventually being sealed in August of 2021.
His recommitment to the Tigers continues an off-season of wins, headlined by a lucrative trade period in which the club added Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper to the side.
“I have loved the Club since I got drafted. I love the culture here, all the boys, the coaching staff and playing at the MCG,” Bolton told the Richmond club website.
“It was pretty easy to decide in the end… I am super excited to stay here.”
Bolton has played 90 senior games and kicked 100 goals since being taken with pick No.29 in the 2016 draft.
