Graham to remain a Tiger, Dons eye Suns duo
By Jon Pierik
Richmond midfielder Jack Graham appears set to remain a Tiger next season, having rejected an offer to join Port Adelaide.
Graham, a South Australian native, had met with Power coach Ken Hinkley and football department staff this week, but has since told the Tigers he will not head to Alberton.
Essendon, meanwhile, are one club interested in Josh Corbett, the Gold Coast forward who has played 36 games and booted 33 goals in four seasons with the club.
Hawthorn are one of several clubs circling Jack Bowes, whom the Suns are happy to release and trade with pick No.7, as part of a salary dump. Geelong and the Bombers, the latter now with Brad Scott as coach, are firmly in the hunt as well.

GWS, Tigers agree on Taranto deal
By Michael Gleeson
Elsewhere, a deal to send Giants midfielder Tim Taranto to Richmond has been agreed in principle and is poised to be one of the first trades done when the trade period opens today.
A source with knowledge of the discussions said the Giants and Richmond met in Sydney on Friday and agreed a deal after the out-of-contract Taranto had requested a trade to the Tigers.
Central to the deal will be Richmond parting with picks 12 and 19 in the exchange, which could include the movement of other later picks.

Horne-Francis requests trade back to SA
By Jake Niall
Meanwhile, the news is not so good for North Melbourne, with reigning No.1 pick Jason Horne-Francis dropping a bombshell overnight, saying he wants to move to Port Adelaide this trade period.
But North Melbourne will only consider an exceptional deal for Horne-Francis.
The Kangaroos confirmed in a statement that Horne-Francis had asked for a trade “to a South Australian club”.
But Kangaroos sources told The Age they would only entertain a trade if there was an exceptional deal offered and would otherwise be willing to hold on to Horne-Francis, who has one year to run on his contract.

McKay signs massive extension with Blues
And it’s a very good start to the day for the Carlton faithful with confirmation that 2021 Coleman Medalist Harry McKay has penned a monster seven-year contract extension that will tie him to Princes Park until the end of 2030.
McKay’s future had been under a cloud this season, with talk that he may opt to explore free agency once his contract expired at the end of next season.
But the star forward has turned his back on a potential move to a rival club, and he follows in the footsteps of Patrick Cripps, Charlie Curnow and Sam Walsh who have all made long-term commitments to the Blues in the last couple of years.
“It is a dream job playing footy but to do it with this group, where a lot of us have grown up together in a way, it makes this a unique and special environment to be part of,” McKay said.
“To come to work every day as part of a group that has a clear vision of where we want to take our football club, that gives you every motivation you need as a player.
“Add to that the support we have from everyone at the club, as well as the most passionate supporter base in the country – to play for the Carlton Football Club really is something special.
“All those reasons make it obvious why I wanted to commit long-term, now the focus is putting ourselves in a position at the end of each season to make a real impact.”
McKay, the No.10 pick from the 2015 national draft, has kicked 174 goals from 86 games since debuting in 2017.
