Bangladesh fans were left fuming after Shakib Al Hasan was ruled out LBW by the third umpire despite what looked like clear bat contact on ultra edge.
With a chance to qualify for the semi-finals with a win over Pakistan, Shakib was hoping to begin a partnership with Najmul Hossain Shanto, facing his first ball with Bangladesh 2-73 after 10.4 overs.
But he seemed to fail to make contact on an attempted drive and was declared out LBW.

It looked like Shakib was to be saved by the review as the third umpire saw a spike on ultra edge while the ball was passing the bat.
But he instead determined the spike was due to the bat hitting the ground – despite a shadow being visible under the bat.
Ball tracker then confirmed the wicket and Shakib was sent packing, but not without one last plea to the umpire.
Bangladesh ended up only reaching 8-127, leaving Pakistan in the box seat to reach the semi-finals.
On social media most viewers were left baffled by the seemingly bungled review.
