Fox League’s Michael Ennis believes the Titans were “lucky” not to have a player sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes in the waning moments of the first half.
After been given a penalty in the 39th minute, Dolphins hooker Jeremy Marshall-King attempted a quick tap but was clearly impeded by the Titans pair of Kruise Leeming and Erin Clark.
Marshall-King would end up hitting the ground and robbed of picking up more metres.

“This was an absolute howler from the referee,” Ennis said.
“It was absolutely a ten minute sin bin from everything we’ve seen this season. He was taken to the ground was Marshall-King.”
Cooper Cronk agreed with Ennis, stating the sin bin could have been a “turning point” in the game.
“That should have been 10 in the bin and given the Dolphins a big advantage to begin the second half,” Cronk said.
“It had to be a sin bin.”

Ennis was also critical of a penalty awarded to the Titans earlier in the game, where Dolphins lock Tom Gilbert was ruled to make late contact with Gold Coast halfback Tanah Boyd.
“This was crazy. These are moments where the game has to have a little look in the mirror,” Ennis said.
“That’s just not a penalty, he just bumps him with his chest.”
“It’s embarrassing,” Braith Anasta added.
