The Heat lost last year’s final to the Scorchers and are looking to avenge that loss for their second title win, while the Sixers are hunting their fourth title from their seventh final appearance.
Moises Henriques and Daniel Hughes are the danger men with the bat for the Sixers, while Ben Dwarshuis and Sean Abbott will lead the charge with the ball.
For the Heat, Josh Brown is coming off the second fastest century in BBL history in a sizzling 140 off just 57 balls that included 12 sixes and 10 fours.
Skipper Nathan McSweeney has also been in good form with the bat, while Michael Neser and Xavier Bartlett have been amongst the competition’s leading wicket-takers.
Steve O’Keefe is looking to end his glittering BBL career on a high after announcing his retirement from the Sixers and all cricket.
