Wet weather though has seen the covers on at the Sydney Showground, with the bat flip pushed back and the pre-match Celebrity Biggest Hit cancelled.

The Thunder are coming off a loss to the Strikers, while the Renegades beat the Stars in the Melbourne derby to farewell the retiring Aaron Finch.

Warner and Alex Hales are the danger man at the top of the order for the Thunder, while Daniel Sams and Chris Green will lead the charge with the ball.

For the Renegades Shaun Marsh, who will play his final game after announcing his retirement and Jake Fraser McGurk have been in hot form with the bat, while Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa will be key men with the ball.

Both teams have had disappointing BBL13 campaigns but will want to finish the season on a high in the final game of the regular season before the final commence on Friday night.
