Sydney star Tom Papley has signed a five-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until at least the end of 2028.
Papely was set to qualify for free agency next season, but has committed his future to the Swans after another stellar season in the red and white.
The 26-year-old was named in the All Australian squad in 2021 and made the extended squad in 2022.

“We have a very exciting group coming through, I’m really looking forward to the next five years,” he said.
“The contract didn’t take that long to be honest; it all happened pretty quickly during the finals and got it signed off.
“One of the main reasons I signed on was because of this young group.
“They’re still learning, and I think only half played in their first final this year, so we can’t wait to get back to pre-season and start working hard again.”
Papley was the club’s leading goalkicker in 2019 and 2020.
He has played 141 games for the Swans since being taken with pick No.14 in the 2016 rookie draft.
