A 3-2-1 voting system throughout the regular season sees players poll at the discretion of an independent judge, a former player or pundit, allocated to each match.

Players are still eligible if they are suspended for just one game, however they lose three points. Multiple suspensions or multi-week bans makes them ineligible.

The reigning Dally M Medal winner is Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic and this year’s awards will be held at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
