Aussie star Min Woo Lee shot a dazzling seven-under 64 in Round 2 to charge ahead to a three-shot lead at the halfway point of the Australian Open.
Lee is in the box seat to become the first player in 12 years to complete the Australian PGA – Australian Open double after winning in Brisbane last weekend.
There were many highlights from Lee over the course of his second round, however it was an insane eagle on the par five 18th which set tongues wagging and ensured the 25-year-old would hold a comfortable three shot margin entering ‘moving day’.
Lee, along with American Patrick Rodgers (-9) and Scot Connor Syme (-9), will be in the final group to tee off at 12:49pm AEDT.
