Surprise packets Sydney head to Adelaide facing the toughest task in AFLW – win and eliminate the competition’s most successful side from the finals race.
The Swans were all smiles after winning their first-ever final last weekend in only their second AFLW season – following last year’s winless campaign.
But their stamina will be tested by a Crows outfit brimming with finals experience, and looking to rebound after a disappointing qualifying final loss to rivals Brisbane.

Adelaide have made one change for the semi final, with small forward Jess Waterhouse coming into the side at the expense of defender Najwa Allen.
“We are hoping Jess will add some firepower for us up forward,” Crows’ women’s footy boss Phil Harper said.
“Naj is desperately unlucky but she has had such an interrupted season with injury and suspension, which has counted against her for this week.”

The Swans were forced into their only change, with injured forward Rebecca Privitelli replaced by Montana Beruldsen.
Remarkably, the Swans have never faced the Crows in AFLW with Saturday’s semi final their first-ever meet.
This match gets underway at 7.15pm AEDT from Norwood Oval.
