Tim Tszyu’s upcoming fight against Brian Mendoza is nearly here with boxing fans eagerly awaiting his third bout in the ring this year.

The undefeated Aussie takes on Mendoza on the Gold Coast on Sunday in what is expected to be his last fight on home soil before he chases superfights against some of boxing’s biggest names in America.

Tszyu is in red hot form, having defeated Tony Harrison in a statement performance in March before knocking out Carlos Ocampo in a minute.

Tszyu is defending his WBO super welterweight title after his interim champion status became official when Jermell Charlo moved up divisions to fight Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.

Mendoza has clawed his way off the boxing scrap heap with upset knockout wins over Jeison Rosario and Sebastian Fundora to set up a fight with Tszyu.

WHEN IS THE TIM TSZTYU VS BRIAN MENDOZA FIGHT AND WHAT TIME WILL IT START?

Tim Tszyu vs. Brian Mendoza boxing pay-per-view is on Sunday, October 15 with doors opening at 9am local time (AEST).
The preliminary fights will begin on Fox Sports Channel 507 at 9.30am AEST local time in Queensland (10.30am AEDT).

The pay-per-view main card is scheduled to start at 11am AEST (12pm AEDT).

Timing isn’t an exact science in boxing. While the Main Event is expected to start 1:15pm AEST/2:15pm AEDT, depending on the length of earlier bouts, we reckon Tszyu and Mendoza will enter the ring in the afternoon anytime from 3pm AEDT.
