The PGA Tour’s official social media account took a cheeky shot at Justin Thomas on the eve of the Ryder Cup in a now-deleted post.
Team USA captain Zach Johnson elected to choose Thomas with one of his six picks for the Ryder Cup in an incredibly bold decision.

Thomas had misfired terribly and suffered his worst-ever season on the PGA Tour.
As a result of his poor campaign, the 30-year-old also missed the cut for the FedEx Playoffs for the first time in his career.
Despite his dismal form, Johnson named Thomas in his Ryder Cup team as one of his six captain’s picks in the 12-man team alongside Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler and Sam Burns.
However, Thomas’ impressive 6-2-1 record in the Ryder Cup was a primary reason behind his inclusion.
It didn’t stop the PGA Tour’s official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, from poking fun at the situation.

Thomas was named in the American team ahead of the likes of Keegan Bradley, who won two tournaments including a record-setting performance at the Travelers Championship in June.
Bradley tried to get closer to the inner circle of players on Team USA but ultimately he still felt like “an outsider” having copped the brutal Ryder Cup snub.
“I feel like moving forward I’m going to have to automatically qualify for the Ryder Cup … I am pulling for the U.S. team,” Bradley told Golf Channel’s Tom Lewis in August.
The Ryder Cup will be contested at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome, Italy and commences on September 29.
