Cody Walker continued his hot run of form for Souths, while Latrell Mitchell had a mixed night and Taane Milne put in a powerhouse display.

Cameron Murray led his side to a 38-12 win to book a preliminary final against the Panthers.

Finished with 43 run metres, a try assist and 14 points, but he also had three errors.

2. ALEX JOHNSTON – 5

Ran for 54 metres from six runs in the first half with two missed tackles before a cork ended his night early.

3. ISAIAH TASS – 8

Ran for 61 metres from nine runs in the first half to go with two tackle busts and nine tackles without a miss. Finished with 148 metres, three tackle busts and 10 tackles without a miss.

4. CAMPBELL GRAHAM – 8

Ran for the most metres for Souths in the first half with 73 to go with two tackles busts and eight tackles, but he did miss three. Finished with 136 run metres, a linebreak assist and four tackle busts.

5. TAANE MILNE – 9

Scored the second try of the night with a classy finish in the corner. Had 51 run metres in the first half to go with a linebreak and a try, but also made an error. Set up Souths’ first try of the second half for Ilias. Finished with 118 metres, three linebreaks, a linebreak assist, a try assist and two tries.

6. CODY WALKER – 8

Ran for 57 metres in the first half alone to go with nine tackles and just one miss. Scored the try that ended the Sharks comeback with a superb step off a brilliant pass from Murray. Finished with 85 metres, a linebreak and a try.

7. LACHLAN ILIAS – 8

Brilliant hands to set help set up the second try to Taane Milne. Had seven run metres and seven tackles without a miss in the first half, but his kicks were rarely contested by Souths. Backed up well to score Souths’ hit back try at the start of the first half. Set up Milne’s second try to seal the win. Finished with 34 run metres, five tackle busts, a linebreak assist, a try assist and a try.

8. TEVITA TATOLA – 9

Ran for 55 metres in the first half to go with 14 tackles without a miss, but he also made an error. Finished with a team high 152 run metres, four tackle busts and 24 tackles, but was placed on report for a chicken wing.

9. DAMIEN COOK – 7

Jumped out of dummyhalf to set up the first try for Mark Nicholls. Ran for 17 metres to go with three tackle busts, a linebreak assists, a try assist and a team high 17 tackles in a busy first 40. Finished with 36 metres, a linebreak assist, a try assist and a team high 31 tackles.

10. MARK NICHOLLS – 7

Charged over from close range to score the first try of the night. Ran for 26 metres to go with a linebreak, 12 tackles and his try in the first stanza. Finished with 100 metres, a linebreak, a try and 19 tackles.

11. KEAON KOLOAMATANGI – 7

Ran for 55 metres to go with two offloads and nine tackles without a miss in the first half. Finished with 103 metres, four tackle busts, five offloads and 21 tackles.

12. JAI ARROW – 8

Ran for the most metres of any Souths forward in the first half with 63 to go with an offload and 10 tackles. Finished with 110 metres, two offloads and 21 tackles.

13. CAMERON MURRAY – 10

Shrugged off Dale Finucane to score a crucial try on halftime. Ran for 47 metres, two tackle busts, a linebreak and 16 tackles without a miss in the first half. Set up a crucial try for Walker with a brilliant pass. Finished with 101 metres, four tackle busts, a linebreak, a linebreak assists, a try assists and a try and 32 tackles without a miss.

14. KODI NIKORIMA – 5

Didn’t get on in the first half. Finished with 10 metres and five tackles in limited minutes.

15. HAME SELE – 7

Ran for 50 metres from six runs to go with eight tackles without a miss in a solid first half off the bench. Finished with 86 run metres, and 13 tackles without a miss.

16. MICHAEL CHEE KAM – 6

Ran for eight metres and made two tackles in limited minutes in the first half. Finished with 57 run metres and 11 tackles.

17. SILIVA HAVILI – 6

Ran for 55 metres from six runs to go with three tackles in a solid first half, before he hobbled off with injury.
