The Western Bulldogs face off against Richmond in a season-defining clash that will have a big say on the make up of the finals.
The Dogs (10-9, 105.7%) will be boosted by the return of Liam Jones and Ed Richards — despite setbacks to Josh Bruce, Alex Keath and Ryan Gardner — with Luke Beveridge’s backline depleted.
It’s must-win for the Tigers, (9-9-1, 97.9%), who need to win to keep their season alive, sitting half a game outside the top eight. Andrew McQualter’s side welcomes back Jayden Short and Toby Nankervis, but has managed Dustin Martin and Trent Cotchin.

For Fox Footy AFL 360 co-host Gerard Whateley, Friday night is McQualter’s side’s last roll of the dice to play finals in 2023.
“Richmond’s way in(to the top eight) is to take the Bulldogs’ place. I feel like this is probably it for Richmond,” Whateley said this week.
“If they lose touch with the Bulldogs and lose tomorrow night, I suspect they’re too far back.”
This match gets underway at 7.50pm AEST from Marvel Stadium.
Watch it live on Fox Footy (channel 504) from 7pm AEST.
