ARLC chairman Peter V’landys will reportedly announce the four clubs set to travel to America this week with the NRL’s Las Vegas showcase confirmed.
The Daily Telegraph’s Phil Rothfield revealed on Monday morning that the NRL will kick-off the 2024 season in the United States in an attempt to grow the game internationally.
It was previously reported Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium will host the NRL’s season opener, with a five-year plan to play 10 premiership matches abroad in the works.

All 17 teams will get their chance to showcase their skills in America and Rothfield has confirmed two of the teams who will travel next season.
“I spoke to Peter V’landys yesterday, it is going to go ahead and they will be in a position to announce the four clubs that will be going to America in the next week,” Rothfield said on the Big Sports Breakfast.
“I know one of the clubs will be the Brisbane Broncos, I think Manly will be one of them because of Scott Penn, their owner who is based in New York.
“You’d think they (the Rabbitohs) will be there. If Souths want to go, they will do.
“Penrith originally wanted to go but they’ve decided they will wait until the year their stadium in Penrith is being rebuilt and they will take their first round game to America.”
“I’m putting in for leave at that time,” Laurie Daley added.
