Queensland Maroons team set to be announced at 11:30am AEST on Monday July 3.

Billy Slater will announce his team for Origin III on Monday morning with two forced changes set to be made to the side that wrapped up the series in game two and are hunting a clean sweep.

The suspension of Reece Walsh leaves AJ Brimson and Selwyn Cobbo fighting for a recall.

Brimson was considered a lock to replace Walsh and the most like for like replacement, but Cobbo’s hat-trick against the Dolphins has thrown him right back into the mix.

Cobbo was not considered in game two due to injuries, but he could do a job at either wing or fullback in the final game and that could leave Xavier Coates vulnerable.

Meanwhile, Thomas Flegler has been ruled out of game three, with Raiders enforcer Corey Horsburgh widely tipped to earn an Origin debut on the bench.
