England has named an unchanged 16-strong squad for the first two Ashes Tests, with wicketkeeper Ben Foakes left out once again.
Josh Tongue, meanwhile, keeps his spot in the bowling attack after the fast bowler took his first wickets on Test debut for England against Ireland on Friday.
Tongue joins Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Matthew Potts, Ollie Robinson, Mark Wood, Chris Woakes and spinner Jack Leach as England’s bowling options.

Captain Ben Stokes had in February said he wanted an eight-man pace attack to help combat a congested Test schedule, with injuries also disrupting England’s preparation for the Ashes.
Jofra Archer was ruled out of the Ashes in May due to an elbow injury and is unavailable, as is the case for Olly Stone (hamstring), Craig Overton (knee) and Jamie Overton (back).
“We are in a great place now considering the first game we had last summer when we probably had three of four seamers to choose from,” Stokes said at the time.
“It would be great if we had eight quick bowlers to choose from going into this summer.”
