The AFL has revealed its pre-match and half-time Grand Final entertainment for 2022, with an iconic Aussie rock band and UK pop superstar among the performers.
As revealed earlier this year Robbie Williams will perform before the Grand Final as the headline act.
Then a homegrown group of stars will perform at the MCG with Goanna, known for their hit song Solid Rock, to join first nations performers Christine Anu, Emma Donovan, Tasman Keith and William Barton.

They join G Flip, Mike Brady, The Temper Trap featuring Budjerah and Ngaiire, and Katie Noonan as revealed acts.
All of them will perform at the MCG on Saturday September 24 as the AFL decider returns to the home of football for the first time in three years.
“This year’s Telstra Pre-Match and Half-Time Entertainment is shaping up to be one of the greatest Grand Final music spectacles of all time,” AFL executive GM of customer and commercial Kylie Rogers said.
“We know how brilliant our Australian music talent is, so we’re delighted to welcome Goanna, Christine, Emma, Tasman, Will and a host of homegrown stars to the MCG as we celebrate the end of the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and award this year’s premiers.
“I’d like to thank Telstra for its support of this year’s entertainment and look forward to seeing the return of 100,000 fans at the MCG on the last Saturday in September for this much-loved occasion.”
The 2022 AFL Grand Final starts at 2:30pm EST meaning the pre-game show will be some time between 1pm and 2:15pm, while the half-time show will be at around 4pm.
