A stiff assignment for the Raiders has become even tougher with prop Joe Tapine to miss the game to stay in the nation’s capital for the birth of his first child.

Emre Guler will take Tapine’s place in the starting line-up with debutant Peter Hola to come off the bench.

The Green Machine and their fans should be lifted by the inclusion of 292-gamer Jarrod Croker, who will start in the centres, replacing Harley Smith-Shields.

It will be the club legend’s first taste of NRL action since Round 9 of last year.

Brad Schneider comes into the halves for the injured Matt Frawley, who broke his hand in last week’s heavy loss against the Panthers.

Broncos coach Kevin Walters has named an unchanged 1-17 as the NRL’s highest-scoring side look to improve to 6-0.
