The Roosters will be without skipper James Tedesco for at least one week after his night against the Eels was ended prematurely by a late high shot from Bailey Simonsson.
In the 24th minute Tedesco attempted a tip on to Daniel Tupou only to be collected late by Simonsson’s shoulder to his jaw, which resulted in the Eels winger being sin-binned.
In a busy night for Simonsson he was also sent for a HIA in the second half after a brutal tackle.
