England Secure Victory Over Ukraine with Goals from Kane and Saka

On Tuesday night, England secured a hard-fought victory over Ukraine in a crucial Euro 2020 qualifying match. The Three Lions were able to overcome a resilient Ukrainian side thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka.

England started the game brightly, controlling possession and creating chances. However, it was Ukraine who had the first real opportunity of the game when a long-range effort from Andriy Yarmolenko forced a good save from Jordan Pickford.

The Three Lions then took the lead in the 34th minute when Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot after Marcus Rashford was brought down in the box. England continued to dominate the game and were rewarded with a second goal in the 63rd minute when Bukayo Saka fired home from close range.

Ukraine attempted to get back into the game but were unable to break down a resilient England defence. The Three Lions held on for the win, securing three vital points in their quest to qualify for Euro 2020.

The victory was a huge boost for England, who are now top of their qualifying group. Manager Gareth Southgate will be delighted with his side’s performance, especially considering the absence of key players such as Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho.

England will now turn their attention to their next qualifier against Austria on Saturday. With another three points up for grabs, Southgate’s men will be looking to continue their impressive form and secure their place at next summer’s tournament.
