Real Madrid Reportedly Pursuing Camavinga Transfer to Block Manchester United

Real Madrid have reportedly set their sights on signing Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in order to prevent Manchester United from acquiring the highly sought-after French talent.

Camavinga, 17, has been one of the most impressive young players in Europe this season, and has attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world. Manchester United have been linked with a move for the player, but Real Madrid are now reportedly looking to swoop in and sign him first.

The Spanish giants are said to be keen to add Camavinga to their star-studded squad, and believe that his presence could help them challenge for major honours next season. It is also believed that they are keen to block Manchester United from signing the player, as they view him as a potential long-term replacement for the ageing Luka Modric.

Camavinga has already made over 50 appearances for Rennes since making his debut in 2018, and has established himself as one of the best young midfielders in Europe. He has also been capped by France at Under-21 level, and is expected to be a regular in the senior team in the near future.

Real Madrid are said to be willing to pay up to €50 million for Camavinga, and are confident that they can convince Rennes to sell. However, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United will make a rival bid for the player.

If Real Madrid are successful in their pursuit of Camavinga, it could be a major blow to Manchester United’s transfer plans. The Red Devils have already missed out on several high-profile targets this summer, and losing out on Camavinga would be another major setback.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid can pull off this ambitious transfer before Manchester United can make their move.
