The Quincy Public Schools (QPS) Alumni Band recently performed at a Memorial Day ceremony in Quincy, Massachusetts. The event was held to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The band, which is made up of former students of QPS, played a variety of patriotic songs to commemorate the occasion.
The band was formed in 2018 as a way to bring together former students of QPS and to honor the service of those who have served in the military. The band consists of over 30 members, all of whom have graduated from QPS. The band is led by director and former QPS student, John Smith.
