The Broncos will be without star fullback Reece Walsh when they take on a full-strength Cowboys side at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
Walsh suffered a facial injury in last week’s 24-all draw with the Titans and his return date is yet to be confirmed.

Broncos coach Kevin Walters has shifted Selwyn Cobbo to fullback in what could be a sneak peek at the Round 1 line-up if Walsh is unavailable for the season-opener.
Cobbo, who has aspirations to play fullback in the future, returns to Brisbane’s line-up after scoring a hat-trick for the Indigenous All Stars in their win over the Maori All Stars last week.
Skipper and halfback Adam Reynolds won’t play due to back tightness. New recruit Jock Madden will instead partner Ezra Mam in the halves, while Payne Haas takes on the captaincy duties.
