The Wests Tigers have been labelled “pathetic” and “embarrassing” after conceding a ridiculous 42 points in a single half against the Raiders.
Ricky Stuart’s men ran riot to record seven tries leaving Fox League’s Braith Anasta “speechless” while spectators were reportedly leaving Leichhardt Oval before the halftime whistle was blown according to Code Sport’s Lachlan McKirdy.

“The Wests Tigers, pathetic, the Canberra Raiders, on fire, what can I say, I am almost speechless,” Anasta said.
Fox League’s Corey Parker slammed the Tigers for delivering a “diabolic” performance in front of the thousands of fans that have stood by the merger club.
Interim coach Brett Kimmorley’s side earned the wooden spoon for the first time in the club’s history, recording only four wins this season.
“Diabolic, for their last home game, I mean the fans have turned up, they have turned up to watch a bit of a performance and 42-0 at half time is absolutely pathetic,” Fox League’s Corey Parker said.
“It is embarrassing, 72-6 only a couple of weeks ago, last game at home and they turn up and let everyone down in that jersey.”
Director of football Tim Sheens will take over as head coach for the next two seasons, with club legends Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah as assistants.

“Not only is the first half an embarrassment, the club at the moment, in what they are dishing up in the competition is embarrassing,” Fox League’s Michael Ennis said.
“They cannot get to the off-season quick enough.”
When exiting the field at halftime, the Leichhardt Oval crowd can be heard booing their side loudly, while Kimmorley said his team’s performance “was not NRL standard”.
“The message from Brett Kimmorley, that first half performance was NRL standard, he called it embarrassing, the Tigers faithful booed the team off as they came off at Leichhardt,” Fox League’s Jake Duke said.
