“What a Super Bowl this has been.”
And that’s before the stroke of half time.
Super Bowl 57 has had everything in the first half after Philadelphia marched downfield and scored on their opening drive before Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce could respond for the Chiefs.

An absolute dime from Jalen Hurts put AJ Brown in the end zone to allow the Eagles to regain the lead before the momentum completely flipped late in the second.
With Hurts under pressure, it was Kansas City’s Nick Bolton who pounced, nailing the QB before scooping up the footy and charging 36 yards to tie up the scores once again.
“The scoop and score!” Steve Levy said for ESPN.
“Hurts was going to try and run for it and lost the football.
“First turnover of the postseason for the Eagles and comes at the worst possible time!
“Second career recovery touchdown in (Bolton’s) career. He’ll never forget it.”
Described as at a “critical point” in the game, ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky questioned how Hurts would respond from such a massive turnover.
“Every point counts in this game,” commentator Louis Riddick said.
“Chiefs defence comes up big.
“I know Hurts is a cool customer but his heart’s gotta be beating, it’s gotta be racing a little bit.
“Just coughed up the football, no reason – just slipped out of his hands and all of a sudden they’re a tie.”
But as Hurts has done all year, the star QB was able to shake off the error and lead his side to the redzone – taking a new Super Bowl record with him.
At 4th and 5, Hurts backed himself in and went for a mad scramble as he picked up a SB record 23 yards.
It’s now the longest rush by a QB in Super Bowl history.
Hurts then scooted over practically untouched to retake the lead for Philly.
“You talk about after that turnover how does he respond? Is he capable? How about that one?” ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky laughed.
“He does not lack for confidence,” Levy added.
The match turned once again with just 90 seconds to play in the half when Patrick Mahomes limped from the field, nursing the same ankle that he struggled with in the divisional title.
It’s definitely game on in the second half, with the Eagles leading 24-14.
