Brandon Smith will play his first game for the Roosters against his former club, the Storm in Sunday’s trial game at Geelong.
The Roosters pulled four of their stars out of the line-up on Saturday, but the likes of Smith, Matt Lodge, Victor Radley and Sam Walker remain in the squad.

Also making his club debut is former Rabbitohs Jaxson Paulo, who is vying for the right swing spot.
Young guns Egan Butcher and Siua Wong make up and exciting second row with the latter tipped to make his NRL debut this season.
As for the Storm, Christian Welch and Reimis Smith will make their long-awaited return from respective ACL and pectoral injuries.
Gun utility Tyran Wishart will play five-eighth and partner 20-year-old Jonah Pezet, who was named man of the match in last year’s under 19s State of Origin.
