Embiid named, Harden brutally snubbed as NBA All-Star reserves revealed

Josh Giddey’s Oklahoma City teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has made the cut as superstars Joel Embiid and Ja Morant headlined the NBA All-Star reserves list.

Gilgeous-Alexander missed out on being named as a starter for the Western Conference, with Giddey declaring via Twitter that his Thunder teammate was “robbed.”

Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers running mate James Harden was one of them.

Harden, a ten-time All-Star, has been in strong form this season and is averaging 21.3 points and 11.0 assists but didn’t make the squeeze.

Nor did Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker, who is averaging a career-high 27.1 points.

The seven All-Star reserves for each conference were decided by the head coaches across the NBA and are made up of two back-court and three frontcourt players as well as two “wild-card” selections, meaning they can play anywhere on the court.
