All week the Wallabies have been speaking of consistency and the need to step their performance up from the 25-17 win last weekend.

While the Springboks were at their sloppy worst, the Wallabies took their chances on a sunny afternoon in Adelaide. But the weather is completely different in Sydney, with showers all day in the Harbour City.

Dave Rennie has named an unchanged Wallabies team for the first time since 2018, with just one change on the bench as Jake Gordon replaces Tate McDermott.

In stark contrast the Springboks have made eight changes to their starting XV, with injury and form seeing Jacques Nienaber turn to his wider squad.

In particular the Springboks have a new halves pairing in young guns Damian Willemse and Jaden Hendrikse, while Willie le Roux returns at fullback.
