Tournament favourites the Perth Scorchers, who are two victories away from clinching the Big Bash League minor premiership, will face the Adelaide Strikers at Adelaide Oval on Friday afternoon.
The reigning champions can wrap up top spot on the BBL ladder if they win their remaining games against the Strikers and Melbourne Renegades.
Victory over the Adelaide Strikers would cement a top-two finish for the Scorchers, booking their sport in The Qualifier on 28 January.

West Australian all-rounder Aaron Hardie, who has smacked 369 runs at a strike rate of 141.37 in the tournament, is now fit to bowl after recovering from a minor quad complaint.
“I’m enjoying batting up the order (because) you get more balls and you can build an innings,” Hardie told reporters on Thursday.
“Number six and number seven is obviously an important role and you can win games because it’s a super-important role, but I’m loving three because I have a bit more time and it allows you to be a bit smarter with the batting.”
Meanwhile, the Strikers will be desperate for a victory to keep themselves in the hunt for a finals berth, with five wins from 12 matches to date.
The first ball at Adelaide Oval is scheduled for 4.30pm AEDT.
