BBL LIVE: Potential Grand Final preview as top-of-table Scorchers and Thunder collide

A top-of-the-table clash caps off Wednesday’s BBL double-header as Perth Scorchers host Sydney Thunder.

The Scorchers, sitting 5-1, are the only side in the league to have lost fewer than three games as they once again look ready to challenge for the title.

However the Thunder are rounding into form, sitting second on the table and having won three straight matches, after their infamous score of 15 earlier this season.

They have called up Albury’s Ross Pawson after the injury to Gurinder Sandhu.

Tonight is Perth’s inaugural men’s BBL Pride game, celebrating the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) community.

The match gets underway at 9:15pm EDT from Optus Stadium.
