Cameron Munster has switched to fullback in recent weeks, but without Hughes he may be required to stick to his playmaker role in the halves.

Felise Kaufusi makes his return in the second row, with Tui Kamikamica shifting to the bench.

Josh King has been named to start at lock, with Brandon Smith on the bench, but the pair may swap as has been Craig Bellamy’s preference in the back half of the year.

For the Eels Reagan Campbell-Gillard was found guilty of a dangerous contact charge but escaped with a fine at the judiciary and will take his place in the front row.

Bryce Cartwright or Ofahiki Ogden could come in for Jake Arthur if the Eels decide to go for more grunt on their bench.

It sets the scene for a blockbuster clash with the winner solidifying a top four spot, while the loser faces sudden death football in week one of the finals.
