Australia have brought the quickest bowler in the country into the Test squad as cover for injured skipper Pat Cummins.
Lance Morris is en route to Adelaide to join the Australian squad ahead of the second Test against the West Indies on Thursday, according to SEN.
The paceman regularly clocks over 150k/h for Western Australia and played a key role in their Sheffield Shield-winning side last summer.

The 24-year-old is only rivalled by Tasmania’s Riley Meredith as Australia’s fastest bowler, averaging around the 145-147k/h markt with the ability to pass 150km/h.
Morris has taken 59 first class wickets at 25.08 in 15 games and will join the squad, but Scott Boland is still expected to be picked if Cummins fails to overcome a quad complaint.
Cummins didn’t bowl in the second innings of the first Test, which Australia won by 164 runs, and his movement in the field looked significantly limited.
The 29-year-old was injured while bowling in the first innings and told Fox Cricket after the game that he’ll see how he pulls up before making a decision on Adelaide.
“I’m not going too bad, I’ve got a little bit of a tight quad,” Cummins said.
“If (the first Test) got a bit tighter I was going to have a bowl but luckily it didn’t get too close.
“It feels fine, I’m just trying to be a little bit protective, obviously we have the Adelaide Test in four days so I’m hoping to be available for that, we’ll see how the next few days go.”
