The Detroit Pistons have stunned Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks at home with a 131-25 win in overtime in the NBA’s lone game on Friday (all times AEDT).

The Mavericks forced the extra period after rallying from being down eight with 1:47 left in the fourth including consecutive threes to Tim Hardaway Jr and Doncic and a Reggie Bullock reverse layup before Isaiah Stewart missed a potential game-winning triple for Detroit.

Dallas went on a 6-2 run to start overtime to go up 123-119, but Jaden Ivey, who returned from a three-absence with a knee injury, stepped up with two huge consecutive plays – a driving layup followed by a massive three-pointer to put Detroit up two.
