North Melbourne has appointed a new national recruiting manager, six months after three of the recruiting and list management staff departed the club.
Will Thursfield was announced in the role on Thursday after a five-year stint as recruiting officer at Richmond.
Thursfield played 77 senior games for the Tigers between 2005 and 2011.

In May, the Roos lost national recruiting manager Mark Finnigan and list manager Glenn Luff, which followed the departure of national recruiting officer Ben Birthisel mere days before.
Those departures came just over one week before the mid-season draft, which raised eyebrows across the competition.
