Boxing fans have been left seeing red after a horrifically one-sided contest went ahead on Sunday afternoon.
Jaime Munguia took on Gonzalo Coria with DAZN hosting and showcasing the bout between the two fighters.

But fans watching on couldn’t believe what the boxing promoter had dished up with the contest severely one-sided.
Munguia took his record to 41-0 after dominating Coria (21-6) through the opening two rounds before he ultimately ended things with a third round knockout.
Coria hit the canvas in the second round, but a plethora of body shots left him on one knee and shaking his head at the referee who waved it off.
Munguia then used his post-fight interview to call for a shot at boxing legend Gennadiy Golovkin, a far cry from the opponent he went up against on Sunday.
The ugly sided nature of the one-sided bout left some key voices in the boxing industry fuming.
Boxing journalist Dan Rafael went scorched earth on the fight, savaging the host broadcaster for allowing it to go ahead.
“Munguia KO3 Coria. Disgusting mismatch. A squash match. F***ing pathetic,” he wrote in a series of tweets.
“That was sewage.
“How @DAZNBoxing allow that dreck on the air?”
Legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas echoed Rafael’s thoughts as he torched the network for putting fans through the nightmare ordeal.
“Munguia has improved but the network should be ashamed giving fans these mismatches,” he wrote.
The undefeated Munguia sits among the top three in the middleweight rankings across four sanctioning bodies (WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO).
“I was happy to be in the ring. This year we couldn’t do Charlo, but hopefully we can do it next year,” Munguia said post-fight.
“But we know that Gennadiy Golovkin is not signed with (a rival promoter). I would love to meet him in May.”
Unfortunately the call out will more likely than not be in vain with Golovkin facing two mandatory title defences after a knockout victory to win the WBA and IBF titles earlier in 2022.
