The French prodigy again showcased why he’s projected to be the NBA’s No. 1 pick during his Boulogne-Levallois’ 78-69 win over Limoges on Saturday (all times AEDT) in a dominant performance.
Wembanya racked up a 33-point, 12-rebound double-double to go with four assists and three blocks.

But beyond the stat sheet, the 7-foot-4 big man showed off several highlight plays through his versatility and ability to shoot, handle the ball, run the floor and protect the basket amazed.
And with the NBA streaming all of the 18-year old’s international games, his abilities have left the NBA world in awe.
One play in particular early in the fourth quarter got people talking when Wembanyama caught the ball outside the three-point line isolated on a smaller defender with less than 10 seconds remaining on the shock clock.
After initially losing his dribble and being forced to retrieve backwards, Wenbanyama then made a series of between-the-legs moves and threw up a running one-footed three-pointer that swished into the basket in an absurd sequence for someone of his size.
It marked the Metro 92’s sixth-straight win, with its next LNB Pro A game on November 21 against Nanterre 92.
