Lebanon winger Josh Mansour has opened up on his struggle for game time with the Rabbitohs and why he has already reached out to Cedars and Sydney Roosters assistant Matt King.
Mansour, who is currently off-contract, only managed to secure five appearances with the Bunnies in 2022.
With no 2023 home at present, the Lebanese international said he would be willing to joing the Bunnies’ arch rival.

“I have already chirped into his (King’s) ear,” Mansour said.
“The Sydney Roosters are a great club. If an opportunity arose, I would definitely explore it.”
While Mansour was disappointed with his lack of game time at the Rabbitohs in 2022, he’s hoping his World Cup performances put him on the radar of other NRL clubs.
“At the beginning of the year I didn’t have that plan – I didn’t see it coming,” Mansour said.
“It really shocked me the way the year went but I just had to swallow my pride and ride out the year.
“I just tried to be as professional as I could and come with a good attitude to training every time.

“I am extremely determined. I always wanted to come here first – main focus – and after that see what happens.
“It is a bit of a weird situation to be in, a bit stressful.
“I am not going to lie. My wife is hitting me up asking what am I going to do, I am telling her to be patient. Whatever happens, happens.”
