Manly off their game
The Dragons are contributing to it, but Manly so far look like a team that needs to settle things down for a while. There have been plenty of errors and a general lack of composure. There’s another one, and this time it is Cherry-Evans. Dragons lead 6-0 after 29 minutes

Sloan opens scoring for Dragons
Finally, some reward for all that possession!
Tyrell Sloan has just crossed for his fifth try of the season. It was set up by the bloke who stole his No.1 jersey, Clint Gutherson.
The ball has shifted right, where the former Eels captain threw a basketball pass to his winger.
Super stuff.
Conversion successful, Dragons lead 6-0.
No Trbojevics for Manly
Jake Trbojevic’s night is already over.
The NSW captain has been ruled out of the game with a category-one concussion after a collision with David Klemmer.
Huge blow for the Sea Eagles, who have been off the pace early.

And we’re away!
We have just kicked off and I can confirm that the game is officially a sellout.
A coupla late changes; Dylan Egan is starting for the Dragons, bumping Luciano Leilua to the bench.
Josh Aloiai has been ruled out for the Sea Eagles, resulting in Toafofoa Sipley starting and Clayton Faulalo coming onto the bench.

It’s been all the Dragons in the opening minutes, helped by some cheap piggy-back penalties.
We’ve already seen Damien Cook go for a scurry from a quick tap.
Which Manly will turn up?
I can’t quite get my head around Manly. At times this season, they have looked like genuine contenders, but in the last two weeks they have leaked 72 points.
I covered their loss to Cronulla last week and thought they were very disappointing. They should be much better at Brookvale than they were at Perth.
The Dragons, meanwhile, should be sitting higher on the ladder than they are. They twice gave up 12-point leads to lose by a point. They’re also the only team to beat the Storm this year, so they’ve got something to build on.

My tipping this year has been abysmal, but for what it’s worth, I’m tipping Manly to squeak home.
Lachlan Galvin
It’s got all the elements of a great rugby league story.
A disgruntled star player, a powerful player agent, a club desperate to show it will no longer be bullied by powerful player agents.
And in the middle of it all is Lachlan Galvin.

It’s a lot for any footballer, let alone a 19 year old, to deal with.
The pile-on has already begun. It’s a huge story and for the latest, check out this from colleague Christian Nicolussi.
