Fans will be partying long into the night in Knoxville after No. 6 Tennessee stunned No. 3 Alabama in a thrilling 52-49 upset win on Sunday.
Neyland Stadium quickly became consumed by a swarm of orange after Chase McGrath made the 40-yard field goal as time expired, ending a 15-game losing run to the Crimson Tide.
The goalposts went down shortly after, with fans carrying it out of the stadium and then into the streets before it was thrown into a river.

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel soaked in all the glory after the game, celebrating with supporters, declaring: “Everybody’s lighting a cigar tonight”.
“Man … Rocky Top … this is college football at its absolute best!” Heupel told CBS Sports.
“Our team competed for 60 minutes. These fans … phenomenal. What an environment, man.
“It’s about this team. This is for our former players, our fans. We know what this means… everybody’s lighting a cigar tonight.”
The win was Tennessee’s first over Alabama since 2006 while the 52 points were the most the Crimson Tide had conceded since 1907.

Speaking after the loss, Alabama coach Nick Saban said it was a learning experience for his side, who he added needed to have “more respect for playing with discipline”.
“You’ve got to give them a lot of credit,” Saban said.
“They did a great job with their offence based on what we were trying to do on defence. But we didn’t execute well enough. You’ve got to give our players a lot of credit for fighting back, getting back in the game … and having an opportunity to win at the end. I wish we could do some things a little different in the end.”
