New vision reveals two more Broncos involved in drunken fan day scuffle with Reynolds, Carrigan

Fresh CCTV vision has allegedly shown Broncos stars Reece Walsh and Payne Haas were also involved in a late-night scuffle between Brisbane teammates over the weekend.

Senior players Adam Reynolds and Patrick Carrigan fronted the media on Tuesday after footage emerged of the pair in a push and shove after a night out.

Broncos skipper Reynolds was captured clashing with Carrigan in Brisbane’s night life district Fortitude Valley on Sunday, with the incident taking place just hours after the club’s annual fan day.

Now fresh CCTV footage of the incident ran by 9News alleges Walsh and Haas were also involved in the melee and the report claimed “many of the Broncos biggest names were there”.

According to 9News, Walsh tried to tackle Carrigan and then Reynolds, while the report also ran vision which allegedly shows Haas “piling into the pack”.

It’s not expected any players will be suspended over the incident and they will all still travel to Las Vegas next week for the Broncos’ historic season opener against the Roosters on March 3.

Reynolds had reportedly told an intoxicated Carrigan to head home in a cab, which triggered the altercation.

Carrigan conceded on Tuesday that it “clearly was time” for him to “go home” when the pair were asked whether they were intoxicated.

“I just want to take full responsibility for my actions,” Carrigan said on Tuesday morning.

“It’s obviously not ideal behaviour that I’m proud of.”

“We’re embarrassed,” Reynolds added.

“We fully take ownership for what happened. We’re a really tight group. We understand it’s not a good look but we were there as mates.

“It started out as a playful fight and a little bit of wrestle that got a little bit heated but there was no one injured. We understand it’s not a good look in the public eye and we take ownership.”

The Courier Mail reported that Reynolds and Carrigan are set to be fined by the NRL but are unlikely to be stood down from Brisbane’s season opener against the Roosters in Las Vegas.

According to the report, it is believed the players will be found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute but not inciting violence.

The Broncos were contacted regarding Walsh and Haas’s involvement and the club declined to comment.
